Were Floyd Hagler or Ali ever underdogs

    If we consider the first Liston fight, FOTC, Rumble in the Jungle, Spinks 2, and Holmes as the five fights in which Ali was the title challenger, he was the underdog in four of them. Only in the rematch with Spinks was he favored to win.

    Ali was also the underdog in the Lewiston rematch with Liston. I don't remember hearing any odds for the Berbick fight, but I would expect him to have been the underdog in that one too.

    Some people thought Angel Manfredy would beat Floyd Mayweather.

    I never saw them but some were picking Manfredy based on experience.
