If I was a betting man, I would say FM made that comment purely out of arrogance! We're not fighting to see who the best is" because everybody already knows I'm the best. Something to that effect!

 

That too.. But it's like when Pac fought Algeri.. If Algeri somehow won, he still wouldn't have nem better than Manny.. He would just be a guy who beat him just like all his other losses.. Margarito being the best was an impossible task that he couldn't reach because he isn't skilled enough...

What does that tell you? He never ducked a prime cotto because a prime Cotto was being steered into the direction of a Margarito fight.

As for Pacquaio.... All you need to do is ask roach why they declined the fight when 50/50 was being offered at the table, and why arum opened his mouth saying Pac was afraid of needles but he had tattoos...

Floyd just made being the best look so easy. That's what people are mad about. He moved up 5 divisions and couldn't be beaten by the best guys in those divisions. He didn't fight everyone. But, he did fight just about everyone that mattered and when they were considered top fighters in their divisions.

I find it ironic how certain fighters get all the hype in the world...but, won't get anywhere near his achievements in boxing or the business of boxing.
