Were Taylor and Prograis always overrated or have they just past their prime?

    No he wasn't.
Rolly Romero is the worst champ in recent history.

I don’t know what you’re talking about. All I said was that American fighters have the absolute best marketing campaigns. That’s a fact.

Can't say a little bit of both?????

I think both is definitely the case..

I will be interested to see how Taylor does at WW.

I hope he can get a payday up there at least. His is about 5'10 so maybe he can fill out a bit up there.

I think its a little bit of both.

Taylor and Prograis are definitely past prime and would have been far more competitive in their primes.

I do recall people thinking they could be problems for Crawford though lol, and Crawford would whoop them both at the same time lol

Not if he gets caught before landing his hook.

i only watched the highlight of the prograis vs haney match.
the thing that caught me by surprise was the lack of upper body movement by regis. i'd have to look at his past fights to see if this has always been this way.
if he is prone to this style of non movement i'd be a little embarrassed at myself for not catching it earlier.

Taylor was elite. But he fell off a cliff due to inactivity & leaving the Mcguigans.. fighters are never the same when they leave them.. Prograis never lived up to his potential but was never anything special. Good but had a poorly managed career .. both are a good 3 years past their peak now..

That's not true, 140 is a great division. Most of the greatest welters that ever lived, have passed through 140 and a lot of great fighters reside at 140. That goes for 135 as well, Great fighters at 135 usually move up to 140.

People were calling Prograis overrated and saying he shouldve lost against Danielito Zorrilla... Do you even know what this thread is about or did you just read the title?
