Better question than who's being paid off: why are you buying whatever commentators say? This was a close fight, 7/5 ballpark, wrong fighter won, sad but happens. If scores were like 117-111 4 Brad I'd be bangin' the corruption drums, but y'all got a little too excited of the atrocious commentary and CompuLie stats, there were rounds Pac didn't do anything and once you calmed down and re-score the fight with some foreign feed you'll find it very close. Because it was.
I voted they scored it like they saw it. Paid for what? Bradley winning is that important? Sets up this big superfight for Nov.? Come on. I don't get what the advantage would be to have a pay off. It was just judges voting some close rounds for Bradley. Sounds like people are going to have to watch the fight and score it honestly. I think if they do that the fight will be much closer than people think it was.
I think they were incompetent as hell. They didn't have a clue on how to judge or score a boxing match. Disgraceful. Who would pay them off and why?
I'm gonna go with paid off by Bob Arum. This is that scumbags way of putting off a Mayweather fight, now he thinks he can sell a big ppv rematch for Bradley-Pac. This guy is a total amoral lowlife who is pretty much singlehandedly destroying boxing for his own greedy purposes. What does he expect to do with all of this money he is making? Has he looked in the mirror lately? The guy looks like a walking corpse. Go away Bob, so somebody can save whats left of boxing
Not paid off, just paid as usual but told how to score the fight. Corruption dominates most sports, people are just too blind and stupid to see it.
Such naivite around here! Jeez, you guys, wake up. Just look at round 5. Two judges gave it t Bradley. ROUND FIVE. End of discussion.
When i saw the fight live, i was drunk and heavily influnced by Hbo's bull**** commentating. Today, sober and clear minded, i watched the fight closely and scored it a draw, giving Tim rounds 1,2 and 9-12. It was a close, competitive fight without a shadow of a doubt. So no, i don't think the judges were paid off nor incompetent.
