Were there any "robberies" in history in which you scored for the actual winner?

This is going to stir up some controversy for sure.

For example, I had Hopkins beating Forbes by a point. I also had Toney beating Tiberi by a point.

Depends, are we talking ESB robberies or real robberies.

If we are talking ESB robberies, I had Taylor edging Winky.

Mine would cause too much of a firestorm so I'm going to refrain from this one.

Even though I didn't watch the fight I think Leonard vs. Hagler will brought up a few times.

The only one I have is Mayweather vs. De La Hoya. Some people were saying Oscar got robbed. It was a clear fight for Mayweather, Mayweathe countered all night long and the only reason people scored the fight for De La Hoya was because it LOOKED like he landed some punches on the ropes.

I think I scored it 116-112 for Mayweather, but that was being very generous to De La Hoya.

Not going to do it cuz the moment somebody wants to question my credibility they'll refer back to this thread by saying something like "aren't u the guy who scored the ______ fight for ______?"

    No thanks.

I will say, on a smaller level, that I didn't think Forrest/Quartey was the robbery everyone thought it was.

May I ask which 7 rounds you gave to Trinidad?

I hated Mayweather when he fought Castillo the first time, and badly wanted him to lose. I've watched that fight a few times and have narrowly scored it for Mayweather every time.

I had Peter narrowly winning the first fight with Toney.

    Forrest over Quartey.

    Taylor over Wink.

I'm sure there are many more, that I can't think of at the moment.

I'm not about to rewatch the fight and rescore it to give you wish rounds.....I did'nt see where DLH was clearly outboxing Trinidad through the first 9 rounds as alot of people like to point out.
DLH did to much running and too much postering even through the first 9 for me to call that effective boxing.

The way I remember it, I had DLH ahead by a point after 8 or 9 rounds, and I wound up giving Trinidad the remainder of the rounds.

I had DLH beating Quartey. Never understood the " robbery " backlash to that one.
