I seriously doubt that fight would happen due to Machida's affiliation with Black House and Team Nogueira. There are plenty of other solid guys in the division though. I'd pick him against any 205er not named Jones or Rua.

Lil' Nog would be one hell of a fun little fight though. Besides, it's up to Dana and Joe Silva who he fights. But if not Lil' Nog, Rua rematch?

True, but I doubt that the UFC brass would force them to fight. The only scenarios in which UFC fighters are forced to face opponents are if they hold titles or are fighting in a title eliminator. Neither Machida nor Nog are going to be in either situation any time soon.

It would definitely be an interesting fight though.

    Loser of Rashad versus Davies.

Shogun or Henderson would be great match ups also.

Yea defintely back to the drawing board. He put up a better fight than any of Jones' previous opponents, so he should definitely give it one more run.

Machida needs to blow his cold situation out of proportion and gun for a rematch. He should fight Phil Davis or Rua 3 would also be great!

Machida has gone 1-3 in his last 4, 2 in which he was finished in brutal fashion and one very uninspiring decision against a toothless and relatively past it Rampage. His only win has come from an aged and all but retired Randy.

He needs to take a step down in his level of competition and build himself back up. Perhaps a Griffin or a Bonnar, even Igor or the winner of Gustafsson/Matyushenko

Rebuild. If Evans can beat Jones then he is presented with a winnable fight of regaining the championship.

Wouldn't mind him bulking up to heavyweight if he thinks he only has 3 or 4 fights left in him. Maybe even a hard cut to 185.
