I knew it wouldnt go to the score cards but i didnt expect it to last 2 rounds only.
I actually believed that Floyd Snr would improve Hattons boxing skills. I think Hattons training camp was a complete waste of time. He showed no improvement & no difference in style and technique, it was the same old ricky hatton.

i was also relieved when he got up. the knockout was nasty.

  2. after watching the first round? HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I was disappointed though~

I was very surprised. I thought it would be a war, but never a blow out in the second round!

I have a billion posts since the DLH fight that Manny KO's Hatton within 4 rounds. So I was not surpised. Anyone who watched the Lazcano fight should have known Hattin had no punch resistance left.

And let me add, PBF UD PAC if they fight. PBF will find a way to shut down Pacs offense, and will be forced to unleash his own.

Yes. Yes I was. I thought Pac would win but only through an accumulation of punches like his victory over Oscar. Never would I have imagined that he would flatten Hatton like that in two freaking rounds.

Never been more suprised during a fight in my life. That includes Lewis/Rahman, Khan/Prescott.
I finished work last night at 10pm. Got home and watched MOTD then had the fight on the laptop. Wathced the whole thing through thinking i'd Have 2 hours sleep roughly as I had to be back in work at 0730. Fight finished around 4:30. Couldn't sleep was that shocked, even had to go for a drive. In work now still not slept. Still Shocked. And I picked a Manny KO but my Lord............. NOT LIKE THAT !

Of course I was surprised. When the fight was first announced I was going for Pacman on points, outboxing Hatton. As the fight came closer I decided Pacman could actually hit hard enough and accurately enough to get a 10th round TKO (which was my official prediction).

But there was always a small part of me thinking, damn, what if Hatton breaks his ribs with a bodyshot, or what if he catches him hard with a left hook to the head?

In any case, I was expecting a classic fight.

The interesting thing about last night is that I can imagine that after that first round, a lot of boxing fans all over the world were sitting in front of a screen and just staring with their mouths open.

The funniest thing is that most people don't even realize what has just happened. For everyone else, it's just a normal Sunday, but for boxing fans that's going to a be a night to remember.
