hmm says... after Pac was landing a few good clean ones in round 1 I said Pac is going to win... After the first knockdown, I said "holy shiet he just might knock him out within 3" like Roach predicted.... I have goosebumps a bit..

Never doubt the Pac cause he's unpredictably entertaining

Not after the 1st but I was absolutely blown away at how brutal that stoppage was. I picked Pac by KO/TKO but expected it to be post 8th round, not like that, he almost had him out of there in the 1st.

Hatton had no answer for what Pac brought.

De La Hoya must be made of iron to have withstood the mauling he got!

I figured Ricky would suffer a mauling but I didn't think he'd get popped like a zit.

I knew Pac would outclass him and TKO him eventually, but I definitely didn't think it would happen that quick.

No, I called an early stoppage on the main boxing forum I talk on.

Yeah. I thought it could go anywhere from Pac winning a 3rd round KO to Hatton winning a 10th round TKO, but a second round stoppage ... too good.

But this is boxing. One punch can end it and that can punch can arrive at any time. Most fighters are cagey enough to keep it at bay for a few rounds but it will happen every so often. We shouldn't be too surprised.

I knew before that soon as pacman got his chin it was over, although i'm not oscar de la hoyas biggest fan after his fight with pacquiao a lot of people on this forum seemed to forget how big his heart and how good his chin is unlike hatton. want to see mayweather pacquiao now like

The speed is what did it. In retrospect I am not surprised. Pacman is fast. No insult on Hatton, the man came to fight.

i guess this just proves that the win over DLH was not a fluke...he was past his prime but Manny was a monster.

Pac is a bit like Forest Gump in the Army, he does what he is told and Freddie told him to do it in 3!

I thought that Ricky would bully and be hard to deal with for about 4 rounds, then Manny would adjust and wear him down and maybe take him out in 9.

I am still in shock at what i saw and anyone who says they knew this would happen is Full of crap........the ONLY man on the planet that saw this coming was Freddie Roach......now known as Nostrafreddie.

At the end of the first round I thought to myself "are you honestly surprised?"

I never expected the KO in the 2nd though. I figured Hatton would get the jab working at least, and last to 6.

Yeah! I thought it would last until the 7th round but it didn`t. That was a brutal stoppage though! I`m glad Hatton is ok.
