1,000 year old Holyfield was robbed, and won more more rounds than Haye did against Valuev.

Just one more example of how ridiculously overrated Haye was/is.

And my goodness those fights were dreadful.

Haye is nothing but an overrated bum, its an insult to Holyfield to be mentioned in the same breath.

    Holyfield, obviously.

For Vander to put in a performance like that at 46 really was something -- and, if anything, should have won the decision.

Either works, really. He was a mixture of an impeccable boxing brain and sugary skills.

Haye isn't really a heavyweight, though. Holyfield definitely was by this time.

If there wasn't footage of this, or only footage in grainy, disjointed black and white... People would wax over what a great performance it was for a nearly 50 year old man, how he dominated an underrated giant (See Primo Carnera is underrated ramblings)

Haye beyond any doubt, just because of round 12. Both fights were dreadful, with minimum punching and little to separate the combatants. I thought both official results were appropriate. And if Haye hadn't rocked Valuev in round 12 I would have given the round and the fight to Valuev, and his performance would have been virtually identical to Holyfield's.

Holyfield has more experience fighting heavyweights. He's no bigger than Haye. Not in weight, height, range. Haye was a big weight cutter, and made cruiserweight because they raised the limit from 190 to 200.

Haye was a ripped 215-220, not a fat guy who ate up to HW like Toney or Moorer.

Haye us one of the most overated guys to come around.
-He never unified the Cruiseweight division
-didn't defeat anyone of note @ heavyweight
    - was gifted a belt vs Valuev
-in his only real test vs Wlad, was blanked on the scorecards.

Definitely overrated. In terms of ability and achievements.

Even his vaunted hand speed is overrated. It is limited to single punches, namely, his right hand. He doesn't throw fast and fluid combinations. He showed good defense against Wlad, but it came at the complete expense of his offense. His stamina and chin are shaky.
