No way did it figure Grochev had any chance against Sillakh.

Grochev, with heavy hands, granted, but a plodder with barely any boxing experience against a world-class boxer, with hand 'n foot speed, every tool 'n great amateur creds.

Did Grochev catch lightening in a bottle, or does he have a future?

Sillakh didn't know what to do when he got tagged and just lay on the ropes waiting to be put to sleep. Hardly a world-class reaction.

Sillakh was cocky and got careless, he still had that stupid grin on his face when Grochev seperated him from his senses.
Grochev has a future as a gatekeeper, he has good power, a good chin, and a lot of heart, but not the workrate or skill to sustain a run at the top.
He could pull an upset or two for sure.

You say that with the benefit of hindsight, f. Would you've said that about Sillakh being world class before the fight?

Well, certainly the odds were against it, but it wasn't a complete surprise. I'd heard Sillakh didn't take the greatest shot, so it was always possible that if Grochev got a decent shot in on his shaky whiskers, it could be goodnight.

When fighters don't have solid chins, it's never a complete surprise if they get starched.

Sillakh found out the hard way why you never sleep on a tomato can, because sometimes the can's don't feel like losing.

Grochev is ****, plain and simple.. Sillakh just got stupid.

from the opening bell i thought he kept his hands too low. and then i felt he got too relaxed after knocking Grochev down.

Yep, I had picked Sillakh in the prediction and was quite confident of that pick. He ****ed it right up for me, now I'm counting on Senchenko to do the job over Paulie (I'd take a robbery)

No, I already hinted to a possible Grachev upset when I made my predictions.
I was more surprised Sillakh having such an easy time up 'till the sudden turnaround.

Grochev finally stopped looking at the ground when he threw his right hand and landed something big.

    I was shocked,must admit it.
I still believe Sillakh beats him 100 times in a row if they fight again.im not taking anything away from Grochev but you could tell Sillakh was more skillful and got caught overconfident, besides Grochev was very well conditioned for this fight.

    Yes I was

I was like wow Grachev sucks and Sillakah isnt making him pay

then in the 7th Grachev hit him with a good shot and i was like maybe Grachev will rally win a few rounds and lose on points

then Grachev got him in trouble and put him away

he'll get beated by a technical boxer. sillahk was just coasting. he wasnt looking to knock him out

i was not surprised since sillakh was patty caking his punches. grachev was throwing the right hand all nite down the middle with force
