It was a bad night for Kessler but I don´t think he is shot. If he continious to fight that way 2-3 morge fights you can say he´s shot but right now it´s just a very bad night. Ward just was the better man this night.
Kessler isn't shot. He had a bad night and ran into a stylistic brick wall in Ward. He makes it through to the next round for sure. Ward should be the favourite now.

The majority of your post I agree with other than Calzaghe's resume. Ward also had no big scalps coming into the tourney but many people were picking him to beat Kessler. I couldn't see it myself. Both fighters suprised me last night. Kessler for his inability to adapt and Ward for some of the savvy moves and tactics he used.
Joe ruined kessler and ruined lacy. They were never the same. I wonder why kessler and lacy were shot after they faced joe :yep they ran through everyone until they met da welsh dragon :bbb
