    Now, I might be crazy, but listen to this seriously. Mayorga lost to Cotto and Mosley in 11.5rds each. Margarito destroyed Cotto, but got destroyed by Mosley. Both of them like to bang. Would you pay to see Mayorga and Margarito fighting each other????
    It might not make much sense in the rankings, but I am 100% sure it would be an awesome fight.

    Sure, a Mayorga - Margarito fight would be awesome! It wouldn't last 12 rounds, I bet.

    I think this would make a great fight....however not based on the reasoning old margocheato destroyed cotto w/ cement gloves. more based on their explosive walk forward styles.

    I spoke bout this after Cotto beat Mayo...it would be fun while it lasted, that's for sure!!!

    definately, been talked about before, you're not crazy. think arum may have even mentioned i remember reading on b-scene. win or lose against cotto, i see this fight being made down the line somewhere for margo

    Yea man a shot Margarito vs a past his prime Mayorga should be an evenly matched fight. This fight was one of the most wanted acouple yrs back. It would be a fan friendly fight and physical at that. Can you imagine all the Mayorga lines he'd have ready for Margarito concerning the plaster? Mayo would have an endless list of insults for Margo. Win or lose vs Cotto Margarito vs Mayorga would be great. It has no significance, but it would be a fun fight.
