Sky Sports are pretending it’s still 2015 despite having only a third of considerably weaker British talent pool
Smith is on some sort of gardening leave. Rumours are it’s gambling related but nothing confirmed. Don’t think he will back
For a number of years now, we have seen some very strange cards from the judges on UK cards and you do wonder how many are linked to other reasons outside competence.
I enjoyed the Eubank-Smith card tbh. The Chris Kongo fight was good. Parker is so boring to watch though.
Shalom is a privileged nobody who got given the top promoters job on a plate undeservedly His stable signings have mostly been really poor. I don't think he has a good eye for talent at all. Chris Kongo, Bradley Rea, Dylan Cheema, Nick Campbell, Steve Robinson, Germaine Brown, Cori Gibbs. < all bums who he signed who then got beat.
Big statement to make because of one Ben Shalom line with no context behind it. More likely that Shalom is trying to justify that he hasn't got the budget to pay the money BJS wants. People getting way ahead of themselves saying sky are cutting back.
I don't understand this thread either. I know Boxxer / Sky Sports has lots of exciting stuff coming up.
Saunders is a horrible person. You get some sportsmen who play the villain but actually have a nice side to them behind the scenes. However Saunders is just a nasty piece of work.
Honestly don't understand what BJS hoped to achieve from this. Why would any promoter after seeing how BJS operates want to negotiate with this guy.
