GGG is the only fighter who doesn't need to fight anyone and would have blown them out in his prime but actually didn't.

Derevyachenko would have beat GGG at any stage. Styles make fights and Derevyanchenko was too active and too relentless for the telegraphic GGG.

Because I don't find mismatches interesting. I understand some people just want to see KOs, and that's fine, but I like competitive fights.

LOL like that happened. That's up there with Mayweather beating Canelo 12-0.

So all his fights have been mismatches?

He disposed of very good opposition as great fighters should do.

He destroyed fighters in ways that previous champions had not done before.

You are perhaps the biggest goal post moving, POS fan boy that has ever graced this forum.

I think the only fighter that you can say truly avoided him was Sturm. Most everyone else had a valid reason to avoid him. High/Risk low reward, SAME reason why GGG didn't fight Derevyanchenko when he was undefeated and his mandatory.

A host of fighters called out GGG's bluff when he said anyone between 154-168.

How many times has GGG been the under dog? How many world champions has he dethroned? How many prime fresh fighters that were top fighters has he beat? Answer.

Again questions that you can easily change the goal posts on and questions that can be answered to every elite fighter out there.

    Same goes for Canelo.

Same reason Canelo dropped his belt to, not once but twice.

Once against GGG and once against Derevyanchenko.

Yes, I have made the point multiple times to Canelo haters saying that Canelo ducked so and so. I'm just pointing out a double standard.

In case I have to point it out to you: The double standard is that When Martinez, Cotto, and Canelo did not fight GGG they were cowards, but when GGG refused BJ Saunders, Derevyanchenko, and Ward it was because of business decisions.

Like I told you earlier, if you want to play this game you won't win, unless you use the same measuring tape for each fighter.

When did GGG refuse BJS or Ward?

BJS is on record saying he wanted no part of GGG and has since fought nobody of note since Lemieux and Ward was not only in a different division but it’s online that a fight was agreed only for Ward to blow out his knee and then move up to 175 to fight Smith.

    That’s not “avoiding” people.

What is avoiding people is winning a 160 belt at 155, then expecting the number 1 160 champ to fight you at an imaginary weight of 155 then drop the belt, that’s avoidance.

Very true he did say in an interview that he wasn't ready to fight GGG yet he said he needed another year to grow as a fighter or something.

You shouldn't really be expected to defend a title at a weight higher than the weight that you won the title at.

He just fought an even fight with a top 10 guy. He fought even with Canelo right before that. Definitely not "finished" but yeah, he is getting old so this fading of ability is what happens.

Two things: 1. BJ Saunders did not feel ready for GGG in 2016. In 2018 Warren sent Golovkin an offer to fight BJ Saunders in London but GGG declined. That was an opportunity to do what he had said for years was his main goal, to unify and become undisputed.

    2. Lemieux is considered one of GGs top three wins.

Look bro, GGG was complaining about not having top opponents, he was also continuously claiming or talking BIG that he would fight anyone between 154-168. Multiple top level talents called his bluff, amongst those fighters ere Austin Trout, Erislandy Lara, Demetrius Andrade and Andre Ward.

In 2015 Ward sent GGG an offer. The offer was for a fight, 50/50 split, being held sometime in 2016. The offer was rejected. These are FACTS. There is no disputing this. Ward ended up moving up when the offer was rejected and went on to beat Kovalev twice.

If you want to be honest in this debate I will gladly continue debating and dismantling your arguments apart, if you're going to be dishonest it just becomes a bit ridiculous and a waste of time.

First of all, Canelo fought for Cotto's lineal MW title and WBC title at 155 at Cotto's demand. Secondly, Canelo never demanded a championship fight at 155. It is on record Canelo calling out GGG to a fight at 155 for NO titles, so you can top with that BS narrative.

GGG had stated multiple times he would fight anyone between 154-168, last time I checked 155 is between 154-168. Had GGG agreed they would have probably fought sooner. GGG said 154-168, yet he was dishonest about that because while he would fight a retired fighter in Frch, or a guy like JCCkr at 168, he imposed a cw for Ward, and while he would fight little Floyd at 154, he ignored the top champs in Lara, Trout,a nd even Cotto's demand for 155. The reality of the matter is that GGG despite being a top talent, is the type of fighter that chases money over legacy, nothing wrong with that, he's after all a pro boxer because he wants to earn money, but lets not act like he is the type of fighter who actually takes on high risk low rewards because they are legacy defining, few fighters today are like that, and Canelo is one of them.

Yo people are seriously still tight GGG got his ass kicked by Canelo smh damn man y'all need to let it go lol. Look I won't call GGG a complete hypejob because I do think he legit got a DRAW in the first fight with Canelo, but man realistically if he's not gonna fight anybody good unless he's fighting Canelo then what is the point?
GGG is an entertaining fighter who stayed in his comfort zone instead of daring to he great highlight KO's over a slew of pretty much nobodies is his legacy. I like boxing and through the years have been a hardcore fan a causal fan and back again many times over GGG is overrated af based off how he's talked about on forums.

I dont even want to agree with the isal guy but seriously the best names on his resume are all arguably losses(something another fighter gets bashed for)
And every other win is eh at best..

I mean Murry whose NEVER beaten a Champ whose claim to fame is losing to a more crippled version of Martinez that Cotto KO'd and losing close to other champs in fights that aren't even discussed when bringing up their resume..

Geale was a legit champ at 1 point I guess but he got demolished by the same Cotto you claim was so shot when Canelo whipped his ass.
Lemiux has beaten who? He won a vacant title lost the very next fight and never been a champ again...

Like get serious here I get he's entertained but have we really lowered standards for greatness that much that people like GGG and the Thurman's of the world are considered great fighters c'mon man.
