Bit harsh. Wilder was 33 and 34 for the first 2 Fury fights, that roughly aligns with a heavyweight's prime.

That Christmas Gift line was classless. He didn't give Usyk any credit.

I think him and AJ should have there big domestic dust up and both guys should call it a career.

Forgetting whether we like the guy or dislike the guy- Fury looked utterly distraught post-fight yesterday.

I think it will be a massive challenge for him to raise his game for a Joshua fight.

Really looked like his bubble had been burst yesterday.

His resume hasn’t aged well at all really has it. Best wins are Klitschko and Wilder and probably Whyte.

Klitschko got beat by Joshua, who has been exposed multiple times since, Wilder has been spanked by most of the good fighters he faced (bar Ortiz possibly) as was always going to be the case with his limited skills, and Whytes chin exposed by Joshua, Povetkin and even Parker to a degree.

It’s just not turned into a legacy at all whereas Usyk has come in and got the job done against them all despite not being a typical heavyweight in size.

Always hard to compare eras but I have Lewis beating almost all of these inside 6 rounds.

Fury-Dubois-Joshua in a rotation is probably the only way to dance the dance now and sell PPV for this crop- whether Fury wants it is another question altogether.

I think he beats AJ simply because AJ is a robot and would struggle with the feints etc, and he could probably edge out Dubois who can fold down the stretch.

But it’s hard to want that when you’ve dined at the top against the best (Usyk).

Fourth fight against Chisora. First heavyweight to have a tetralogy since Ezzard Charles. Legendary stuff from the Gypsy King. :deal:

He'll probably go into a spiral of depression and balloon up again then maybe try to come back a year or so later even more depleted than he is now. He's in Deontay Wilder territory now, paddling down that great Egyptian river past the pyramids.

Too bad greed didn't make him and AJ fight when it mattered.
It's either that fight for big money in the UK or retire.

That fight, despite losing it's purpose, will easily sell out.

Theres really oonly the AJ fight. It makes sense fot him, its winable although i would be t on AJ...go out with a victory and a big pay off.

Theres no point him fighting live opponents just for a few more quid and destroying his resume against the like of bakole etc but i guess if he loves it like del boy he might not care and just want to fight.

not really interested he has had his time

Fury should fight Zhang and AJ fight Bakole. Win lose or draw, they have their final fights in the Battle of Britain

I'm not a particular Fury fan, but I think he should retire. He 's made money, done well and there's no shame in retiring after credible losing efforts vs Usyk. I think he's at the point now where there's probably more to lose than to gain.
I think his future is quite hard to predict... it wouldn't surprise me to see him retire, continue and lose some or even take part in some money making gimmick fights. Maybe all of these options ... I think his choices will be interesting to see.

He will cash out with joshua, our stupid cringe Media will hype the fight like it's some ATG clash, even tho they're both pretty much ruined.. I'm personally not interested in it anymore but that's probably what will happen.
