    What’s next for Zhang?

I would like for him to do a couple of gatekeeper fights next. There are several guys in the Top 11 - 20 who need a breakthrough fight to enter the Top 10. Zhang is beatable but you got to be legit to get past him.

    Fighters like Wardley.

I think Wardley is aiming for bigger fights, Itauma should fight Zhang it would be quite a step up and a fight to gain experience...

That could be an option as well.

As of Wardley what’s not to like about the guy? But I don’t consider him Top 10 or an established name yet. He got to prove himself against a solid Top 10 fighter as far as I am concerned.

Despite the loss, Zhang is a player in the division, albeit probably out of the top five after Saturday's defeat. He should rebound with an easy fight and fight someone in the top twenty - the likes of Sanchez, Ortiz, Gassiev and Ruiz. Zhang is still an incredibly hard puncher. He has dropped everybody who has been in the ring with him. The big problem with him (besides the obvious lack of stamina) is that he can't finish fighters when he has them hurt.

Why? He hasn´t taken any real damage, and he has dropped each of his last 10 opponents.
Plenty of good fights for him out there: Miller, Ruiz, Ajagba, Bakole, Huni.

****, a Chisora fight would be an absolute banger!

He's old and doesn't have the stamina anymore imo, which wasn't great to begin with. I'd back Chisora to beat him at this point.

Was still good enough to give Parker a run for his money, and had enough in him to dominate Wilder. There are plenty of lower level guys who Zhang can still beat.

Like I said, he hasn´t really taken any damage. If I were him, I would continue on.

Have one last fight, this time in China against as low a ranked American ad possible. The Chinese population would eat it up.

He's clearly declined in each of those fights compared to the Joyce/Hrgovic fights.

I guess he could become a gatekeeper if he really wants to, but he came into the game too late to do much more at his age.

This is exactly what came to mind. This noted, he can still get a few good paydays facing up and comers, so I expect him to continue

Zhang could probably still make some money with a few decent match-ups and has a couple more big fights left in him.

Would love to see him fight Wardley. A proper test for Wardley against a skilled puncher.

Got a feeling he will fight Chisora next though.

I reckon Zhang v Chisora is a good shout both are the same age and past their best so I think that makes it a fair fight.

He drops or KO's everyone so he needs to keep going. Lose some fat and try some training.
Then go KO AJ for us as he takes a 'tune-up'.
Zhang KO'ing AJ is the gift we were never given.
Zhang KO'ing Chisora would also be a blessing on the world.

This. He's carrying way too much weight. There's no reason he should be coming into the ring at almost 300 lbs. If he were training consistently and eating properly he could easily come in around 250-260.
