    I can't say he's my favorite boxer, but he's one of my favorites.
    - he lost his Olympic gold medal due to a scandalous referee's decision
    - he experienced his first defeat as a professional by justified disqualification
    - he was the Middleweight, Super Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and Heavyweight champion
    - I believe he showed the world "something new" in terms of speed and reflexes. While the previously listed factors are facts, this is my personal, subjective impression :)

    Aaah mate, I have a 2000 strong boxing magazine collection, so it'll be in the depths of there somewhere. Another guy a few weeks ago asked me a similar question, I told him to find the source if he thinks it's that easy "online"...I'm still waiting (as Diana Ross once sang) .

    My favourite boxers cousin played football for a England, and has been portrayed by his own son in film.

    Jimmy would n't have had time for the Blackenstein gig as his double career as a boxer and part time singer with the Three Degrees was busy enough.
