What 154 lb champions would you make an underdog to Floyd Mayweather?

He held his ground and nearly knocked him the **** out in the first. Oscar beat Mayo's arse in that one. He didnt use tactics I see Floyd using.

Floyd is smaller and tends to go into a defensive shell when under the pump like that.

Mayorga was a wild swinger. I guess that is why I don't give him much of a chance against anybody....anybody noteworthy, that is. I just think if Floyd employed lots of movement, slipped and rolled, then countered, I think PBF would win a decision, if Ricardo doesn't KO him first. He did have pretty good power, I will give Ricardo that. But if Mayorga can't connect consistently enough, he just might gas himself out. This is where Mayorga's windmill-like tendencies could come back to haunt him.

How can you bet against Floyd? He has turned up his game pretty well in the big fights. Havent even really seen him hurt or stunned either. Not sure he was up for the first Castillo fight, but the second one was a shutout. Besides that fight, I dont know of many fights that looked very hard for Mayweather. Hes quick hard to hit and a master technician. It would take someone super strong quick, and with an excellent offense. ODLH showed a little success if you can call it that, because of his speed. Norris had some good speed, but like someone said, he was beaten by lessor men at 54, so its not a slam dunk win for Norris. Until I see someone actually beat Floyd, and hes faced some good fighters, its hard to pick against him.
I always thought Floyd needed to be forced to lead to be effective against him. Zab Judah had a few good rounds against him by doing this, but Mayweather eventually broke him down. Guys like Winky Wright and Vernon Forrest would be fighting similarly, but with not near the speed of Judah even though at 47.

 

Terry Norris is fast enough and consistent enough in his throwing that he could very well blow Floyd away early.

Honestly, Norris is about the worst match-ups I could think for Floyd at 154. Floyd hasn't got the power to stop Norris, NOT AT ALL, he wasn't a Jackson/Brown-esque hitter at ANY WEIGHT.
