It's impossible for Floyd to retire at the end of next year and lay claim to even a top 10 spot in history...

It just cant happen, he chose the wrong fights for most of his career. His legacy will reflect that. He would need 10 more years of fighting top class opponents and champs, at real weight limits not catch weights, to scrape the top 10.

He has had one catchweight fight in his career, against Alvarez.

    You sound bitter.

I think people take what he means by TBE. Name a boxer today or any boxer in the future that can do what he's done. Its not about just the fights ,its about how he became to do what he's has done. Many critics are looking at his last couple of fights and make judgement. Unless you have follow his career ,you wouldn't understand. TBE doesn't means you have to fight everyone ,because thats impossible because of the business and structure of boxing.

What? His whole last half of his career has been nothing but one long crusade to maintain his undefeated record. He hasn't attempted to fight anyone while they were capable of beating him whether it be too old, too small, too green. He's not a bad fighter but his big mouth has put him in a position where he has to put up or shut up. Now he's almost in the position like Jones was where he might fight a guy who isn't scared, isn't wowed, and isn't bought/suckered and is gonna go right through him and his bull****. A top 40 he might be, but his claim to being the best ever is the biggest hoax since bigfoot.

A few years ago i thought Alvarez and Pacquiao would seal it but it all depends on the fashion in which he wins. Because Mayweather is a points guy he will get disliked for whomever he beats. If he beats GGG (which i dont see happening), it would be in an ugly dance around defensive manor which is what HE HAS TO DO to survive. If he does it, he would get criticized saying GGG lost too much weight or a split decision isnt good enough to be the best.

There's no one left that's credible for him to beat as long as he's winning its going to excuses upon excuse and as long as Arum is in the picture the Pac fight won't be made. I can see why Pac is broke and having issues.Arum is the biggest crook and Pac doesn't see it.

    47-0 -0 TBE :happy

I would have taken your post seriously. But the clear sign of fanatic at the bottom gave you away. It looks to me that you're more interested in your hero retiring undefeated on paper and just simply going along with it. Not interested in the intangibles of his career, just happy being a groupie and happy with him being undefeated. On paper.

But hey, the money team baby!

GGG may be too much for him, but Pac and Khan would be good fights.

He could KTFO the both of them, at 147 and 160, three times each, and still not be the greatest. He'd be pretty f*cking close to it though.

    2 catchweights - 152 against Alvarez & 144 against Marquez.

Marquez fought @ 135 against Diaz before the Mayweather bout.
Basically moved up 2 weight classes for Mayweather.

and... still Mayweather came in over the weight limit.

Mayweather who was all against ''catchweights'' and discrediting Pacquiao because of catchweights.

He would have to beat up GGG with his hands tied to his back in order to be goat
