I think that Miguel Cotto and Oscar De La Hoya will meet in May or June.
    1. the winner of Miguel Cotto vs. Oscar De La Hoya if it happens. If it dosen't than Miguel Cotto. A clash of the two best welterweights.
    2. Winky Wright. I'm not as high on Wright as some but at 154 and 147 he has outstanding skils and would give anyone problems.
    3. Whoever the top middleweight is.
If he dose all this he will climb pretty high on my alltime p4p list.

I agree with the first poster's list, although Pavlik is way too huge for Floyd. But if anyone can pull that off, it's PBF.

I'd like to see himi fight Williams who would cause Mayweather a lot of bother. Other than that it would have to be Cotto. But Williams would be my pick.

What you mean? Mayweather should have shut ****ers up when he made that daring move to 154 to beat Delahoya.

This thread is bogus. Lets get real. If Mayweather defeated all of these fighers the critics would want him to fight Hopkins or Calzaghe. If he defeated them then it would be Glen Johnson or Chad Dawson. Eventually all roads lead up to Wladimr. If he beats Wladimir.. Then the critics would want him to box God next...

and if he beats wladimir let him box Valuev and put it in a carnival....
if he wins **** let him go to ufc and do mma.... :yikes:yikes:yikes:yikes:yikes:yikes

    5. Cotto.

    4. Shane Mosley.

    3. Oscar De La Hoya rematch.

    2. Winky Wright.

    1. Kelly Pavlik for Middleweight Championship.

That is the path to greatness for Floyd Mayweather.

Right now he needs to fight Cotto.

Then go for Williams and the winner of Cintron/Margarito, a fight that should happen very soon.

Maybe Berto in 2009, depending how things evolve.

I think Maywheather would beat Mosley any day by now. Mosley is starting to slip bc of age, so that fight is not a must anymore.

Pavlik is a natural Light Heavy at least, Maywheather is a Welterwheight, this fight doesn't make any sense, IMO.

That's how one attains greatness. Sugar Ray Robinson went from being welterweight champion to a several runs as middleweight champion. He challenged for the light heavyweight championship and almost won it. Robinson almost closed the deal to fight reigning heavyweight champion Floyd Patterson. The great ones go all the way to the top.

Floyd has the opportunities to do it as well. I'm curious to see where he can go with it.
