he only needs Miguel Cotto and he can retire. He doesn't need ANYONE ELSE. Why the hell would you want him to fight Pavlik lol, thats ******ed.

Thats my point son, Even if Floyd cleared 147 and 154. His critics will never die. Just as he'd be an infinite underdog against God, he will be infinitely criticised. Have you noticed evertime he beats someone like Hatton, he receives little credit and his critics immediately think of someone else for him to fight.

Floyd has no business at 160 and 154 is pushing it. What you are saying is fine and dandy, but realistically it doesn't matter what Floyd does his critics won't give him that recognition. Floyd has already jumped several weight classes starting at 122 I believe and worked his way up to 154 to win titles. So by your definition I guess that makes him one of the great ones.

If he cleared 147 @ 154 most (if not all) people would give him props for doing so. God? :patsch:patsch

:huh Are you counting his amatuer fights or something? Or do you just not know what class he started at? For the record, it's JrLW. 130.

Mayweather doesn't need to silence any critics, they will always be around, and he doesn't need to prove anything to anybody.

But I would like to see him match up with Cotto, Mosley, Spinks and Pavlik

There has been some talk of a Calzaghe/Mayweather fight, if so, Calzaghe by brutal knockout.

Would like to see Pavlik/Mayweather fight also.

    Cotto would be interesting.

    Vladimir Klitschko/Mayweather would be fun!

    Taylor/Mayweather

Valouev/Mayweather would be lots of fun!

I think Calzaghe/Mayweather would be the best fight. No contest though.

duran fought Hagler at 160 and did quite well, I see no reason why PBF couldnt fight Pavlic at 160 and have a decent shot at winning. Pavlic may have KOed Taylor abut PBF wouldnt be getting hit with the same shots that dropped Taylor.

Sure they would give him props. I say God, because I think the only thing the critics really want is to see him lose not to see him clear 147 and 54. He has nothing to prove imo.

Because its rediculous. I don't care what anyone say he has no business up there. 54 was pushing it. He has nothing to prove to anyone. The critics will always be around no matter what he does.

    Cotto (mandatory)
    Williams (should he remain undefeated)
Possibly Mosley or Margarito (not necessary, but adds to his welterweight legacy)
If Berto keeps winning he might be in position for a nifty youth vs. experience clash by the time these fights are finished...but, it's not really a necessary fight.
