Ive just watched the Rogan Skelton fight, what a chin the Irishman showed ;),what a fighting spirit. He took some sledghammers pin point flush on the button and never once looked buzzed and just kept on coming all night.I take my hat off to the fella.Oh credit to Skelton for giving the winner his due and not bitching about the result like so many do these days, yes the stoppage may have been a little quick but it only saved him from the inevetiable anyway and the very real prospect of getting very badly hurt, class acts both fellas.

all true as u said mate, but why are people questioning the stoppage?

After John Keane let Rogan at him again he hit him with a left hook then a right straight i think, when that right landed the slow mo on sky showed skelton to be KO'd on his feet, leaning on the corner and prime for another rogan left hook except this time he'd have taken it flush not seeing it coming whilst also gassed out. thought it was a good stoppage myself

Rogan on bunces boxing hour was a gentleman as always and a credit to the sport

Well questioning the stoppage or not,it would only have delayed the inevitable anyway.Matt was going down and out and like I said if may well have stopped him getting badly hurt. Its allways better to stop it a little quick than to stop it too late.

Rogan is quality, a real hard ****er.
It should also be said that Skelton is not a big puncher, he's just bludgoened a few guys with constant....what Hatton calls 'educated pressure' and what the rest of us call constant leaning and fouling.

Big Rogie is a credit to himself and deserves all the success he's had plus a big pay day in his next fight.

I watched him live in the first prizefighter and the guys in his corner looked pretty ****ing hard. Eamon Magee probably looked the least mad.

certainly makes audley look a tad better now. he had rogan far more hurt than at any time in the skelton fight. perhaps a rematch for the commonwealth title?

eamonn magee not the toughest in the corner? christ

if u want a good read check out a few articles about magee's life, now theres a hard *******

fighting harrison means little to rogan now,
hes on a roll so onwards and upwards. european title fight and world if he gets past that.

i think he will only have about 25 fights so lets get going. he may not make that level but he can only seek harder fights than wat hes done. love to see him take the euro belt in belfast fill out somewhere big there, then a world title fight for his pension. prob drop down a level after losing but it'l be some ride
