    Class.

But he focused too much trying to irritate Carl....he didnt adjust from last time. Same MO but slower and Carl caught him.

Class, imagine if it had been Froch, "I'm devastated not just for myself but also my beautiful partner who i love more than life itself"

Class is not being humbled and making amends. Class is not acting like a dick to begin with.

Seemed like the adjustment he made was not to overextend himself physically so he wouldn't gas in the championship rounds. I thought it was working, as he was looking fresher and coming on stronger in the 7th and 8th......until he got caught with a fully leveraged, picture perfect right hand.

Fair play to Froch for the adjustment he made to land it- the entire fight, Groves was having a lot of success with the left hook as Froch was coming in. Carl set him up knowing he'd go back to the well, and threw as straight a shot as he'd thrown all night to make sure he'd get it in before the hook came. Prior to that, George had been able to throw his shots inside of Carl's wider punches and score with the hook. He may've been lulled into a false sense of security that the quick left hook would still be there for him.

Classy stuff, and I hope the fans can appreciate what went in to that. I don't think Groves' strategy on a macro level was a bad one; Froch just had another trap up his sleeve and the young fighter fell for it.

He was helping to hype the fight into one of the biggest in British boxing history.

ha - pretty funny, has always been obvious he's a nice and decent guy. We forget the mindset fighters need to be in before a fight to compete at the level they do. It's not a normal sport so hardly suprising they sometimes come across badly but given what they do for a living it's forgiveable.
