He would have gotten hurt in there. Good decision to stop it.

Stupid post. The guy was obviously hurt and his corner protected their man. Do you want every fight to end like Eubank v Watson? Good stoppage by his team. Those who think otherwise are sadists.

Its a 12 round fight moron. One round is enough to do damage you can't walk away from.

Eye socket was broken according to Brook, right move by the corner because GGG would have gave him the beating of a life time and maybe damaged him forever, Brook loses the battle but wins the war coz the GGG haters are saying this fight proves his a hype job. Brook looked good against the best "p4p" fighter so his stock has been raised in the eyes of the public. Nevertheless this was a mismatch just like Canelo vs Khan and these type of match ups need to stop before someone get seriously hurt.

His trainer has a job, and one of them jobs is to look after his fighter.

Brook already had one broken eye socket, was pinned against the ropes with Golovkin piling the pressure on and not returning any punches. Brook probably wanted to go out on his shield. That doesn't mean You should let him though.

If he hadnt of thrown the towel and allowed Brook to take more punishment and possibly end up in hospital with 2 broken eye sockets I imagine your comments would be along the lines of "should've stopped it earlier".

    T'was a good call.
