It wasn't really that good tbh, and the scorecards left a bad taste. Hard to take your hat off to it having been forced to wait a year for it in first place, then to see the corruption involved. Might be time to move on from boxing, it has died this year more than any other.
I'm sure you watch other sports, boxing delivers nothing these days in comparison and when it does, there's always some shitty controversy. There's rarely anything good lined up, promoters spend more time in courtrooms than making good fights and when there is something decent you're forced to wait for ages for it. It's barely worth following any more and that's just being honest.

I thought the scorecards were right on the money, but regardless of who won the decision, I thought it was an amazing clash of styles, bringing us a tactical chess match between two of the best in the business. It had drama, momentum shifts, and uncertainty - all things I enjoy when they transpire inside the squared circle. As for waiting a year, what big time PPV fights in recent years have come together more quickly than this one between two elite P4P talents? I can't think of a single instance.
