That asian kid is Qais Ashfaq likes to call himself Killa Kez! Good lad just won Junior Abas other weekend beat everyone all the way through with real ease! One of my faves to wath locally! Cant remembr last time i saw him loose! Back foot boxer, big for weight, long arms, but can mix it if neccessary! Been over to the gym a few times sparred with Adil Anwar and a few others over there! Massive space, tons of bags, 2 big rings, large changing facillities, weights area and cardio area! Gym is always full aswell, never seen it quiet! Jack Batesons a lovely little fighter, won quite a few titles schoolboys 3 times i tihnk! Cant ever seem to get fights though! Cool gym, That Jack kid got some good hand speed, not long till we see another Amir Khan, lots of young asian boxers. That's why Amir is so important for young kids specially the young Asians kids who have do not have any British Asian sportsman to look up to apart from Khan. There are no British Asian footballers in top flight for them to look up to.
The gyms called Burmantofts Amateur Boxing Club its down the road from me, yep Batesons won it 3 times, i went to the last one in Dagenham when he beat saba easily looked great. Also had 2 Jnr ABA champs the other week in the finals in Liverpool, Qais Ashfaq and another asian lad called "Tyson"
awfully poor actually. st joesphs boxing club in sligo have achieved so much and stephen reynolds the trainer is a top man...but they are moving round community centres etc and having to use little space and equipment that isnt fixed and can be stored away. that gym in that video looks as good as i have seen.. are there a lot of gyms in england as good as that ?
