What a joke stoppage AGAIN...

    after watchin the wbc world youth title fight on eurosport last night, i think our referees are pretty good with their stoppages in terms of safetly anyway.

    this fight was between french boxer ali chebah and thai Payakchai Sithparadorn, and in the end chebah knocked the thai out after delivering unanswered shots for around 90 seconds which ended with the guy flat-out and completely out of it. he didn't even look concious yet the referee insisted on counting slowly to ten before letting the doctors in.

    Its **** like that that stops boxing getting the mainstream attention it deserves.

    Thats annoys me, if a boxer is flat out and the count is at 5 or 6 then he isn't getting up and the medics need to be called into the ring.
