This is terrible.. are you telling me that Brandon Rios makes 480,000 a fight and the top UFC headliners get half that?

i think that UFC is slowly dying.. the buy rate hasn't been shown for 146 yet but after getting 800k for Jon Jones who is their top star, this one is prob not going to break 400k according to most sources.

Thoughts? I'm happy.. **** MMA and UFC.. ****'s boring.. Jon Jones is dope though.. very good fighter.. some of them i can't hate on but for the most part, i care very little for the sport and most importantly their structure.

Still a lot of money. They fight harder and there's no running in that octagon. They get

paid less for it.They get choked, bent limbs, and KTFO for less money. Boxers have it a bit easier.

it just seems absurd how the jones-Evans fight did 700k ppv buys and both of those guys got around $300,000. You have a boxing match do over 700k and both of those guys are getting at least $5 million plus

it's been a while since i watched MMA. was it because of a rule or just a change of technique that resulted in stand-up guys winning more than usual?

they dont release what they get from the PPV or the "back room bonuses" . They both got a split of the PPV since they were headlining. They both made over mil

Well that is a problem when it becomes stand up fight, its like bad boxing or kickboxing fight, JDS dominates with just boxing and take down defense!

I know it's bad boxing, but hell, who doesn't like to see dudes get knocked out every once in a while.

Say what??? There's more running in the octagon than the ring. Compare PRIDE to UFC and tell who does the most running.

That's why I think some of the guys who crossed over from PRIDE to UFC had some problems making the adjustment because they were working with more space and opponents who could move more. Take Cro Cop for example; in the PRIDE ring there wasn't much area to evade those kicks but you put him in a larger octagon and all a sudden it's harder for him to pin them down.

Also who gets it easier is pretty subjective. Boxers absorb more strikes and don't have the luxury of taking and opponent down to stop the pain from standup strikes. The larger boxing gloves allow harder punches to be thrown more often plus the shape prevents bruising and cuts which often ends MMA fights prematurely. Boxing damage is mostly internal whereas MMA injuries are more comparable to a contact sport like Gridiron. Totally subjective what a person considers the worse/harder.

It's common knowledge that those paydays don't include PPV bonuses.

Take a look at he video of Rampage's house and car collection on youtube if you think UFC fighter's don't get paid well.
