I will see what my people at Illinois matmen forums have to say about him. Sounds like an uber stud and no shame whatsoever in losing to that caliber of wrestler.:thumbsup
Suzy it is disrespectful to say this about him he is not a good fighter ofcourse, but he has the balls to do something YOU DONT HAVE THE BALLS TO DO... that is get into a pro 52 times in various countries
Ok, I see where you guys are coming from but I feel it's getting taken totally out of context. Besides, anyone that even ATTEMPTS BUDS, has enough balls to do ANYTHING, thank you very much. I respect the fighter and his courage. Just setting the record straight from my pov
Suzy what weight-class did you wrestle in? I don't really know how old Russel is when he posted those pics. I believe I saw the ones you're talking about and I really don't remember seeing much of a bodybuilder. I haven't lifted weights in almost like 2 years but I was much bigger when I was 17. I kind of was into that (bodybuilding), but I played sports too (Basketball). I went to a smart private school so they didn't offer much. Shame, I think football or wrestling could have been a sport that I could have excelled at (Although I always crack negative jokes about wrestling being a bit gay since my dad wrestled). Always loved to compete, still do. My dad was a great wrestler in HS though, so I've always been a little interested in it.
Thanks. I don't really talk about my experience at BUD/s...because I am not supposed to give out too much information publicly..but i believe the Hell Week I experienced alone is tougher than anything I have ever done. You can always pm me if you have any questions about BUD/s. Thanx for the support.
Maybe he's David Hayes next opponent. Or maybe Reggie Strickland will come out of retirement to fight Haye @ Heavyweight :think http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=004741&cat=boxer
He's a pro journeymen, sometimes theres more money to be made as a journeyman there to lose than is to attempt to be a contender, he knows how to look after himself in the ring though as he hasn't been stopped that much, I'd like to see Suzie try to go the distance in as many fights as the gatekeeper has
My guess is that he's been cast typed in a role where he simply knows that he's suppose to be the build-up opponent for the other guy.. There are lot of fighters who fall into that role and often develop the mentality that they are there to lose..
Has our resident 'pretty boy, chip on the shoulder, obsessive compulsive bodybuilder boy' gone AWOL? Again!!!!????? Where is that evidence that cyclone hart knocked out timmy spoon got to? I been waitin for russys' response to that for a few years now...
He's definitely a bad excuse for a professional fighter, but his KO percentage is too low to judge him as the worst. Some of the bums out there dont even bother to take any punishment, and just look for a place to dive as early as possible. Those are the real bums. This guy goes the full 4, 6 or 8 rounds enough times to deserve some sort of credit. He is crap though, and that's not disrespectful, it's just a fact.
