Casamayor bounced back from his controvisal win over Cruz by displaying everything against Michael Katisdis. I was rooting for the old man that night and wow that fight had me on the edge of my seat. Casamayor displayed good punching power, movement, and most importantly Heart. I thought he was done after getting hurt and Knocked out of the ring and came back KOing the rugged prospect. Katisdis showed major heart and class as well. What a great fight!
good performance but i wish the damn ref haden't stopped it so quickly i would've made even more money too many ***** stoppages these days first the Lee stoppage and now this? wtf is going on?
That wasn't a bad stoppage Kats legs were gone and he was on ***** street. The Lee and Andrade stoppages were much worse IMO.
Casa did his thing this weekend - but to call the win over Cruz Controvisal is crazy - that was a straight ROBBERY!!!!!!! :fire
I know how you feel man. The over was 10.5, you were almost there. I thought the Andy stoppage is a good stoppage and that the ref could like michael try a little bit more.
That same night - I was on here ripping that Ref a new one. Horrible stoppage - but if that fight would have been stopped a little sooner - I won't have a problem with that. You let him make it through the worst part of that round and then stopped it - in the middle of the ring - during an exchange. HORRIBLE
Horrible stoppage my ass. Katsidis was on ***** street at the time of the stoppage and the ref saved his ass.
I see where you're coming from. I thought the ref should have stopped the Andy lee fight like 40 secs earlier but chose to stop it when andy finally threw back. Either way Andy was going down. His punches were so weak and was walking around punch drunk.
I'm a Katsidis fan (had to work yesterday, so only just watched it) but IMO it wasn't a premature stoppage. He was gone. His own fault though.
