Sad for me to watch one of my favorite fighters ever Chris Byrd lose to this guy... And even though the announcers and everyone was trying to play up Shaun George to be real good and impressive it was mostly because of what Chris Byrd was NOT able to do.......very sad...

    That was very sad indeed.

Hate to see that happen to a genuine good guy who's just fought on too long.

Yep I think the dude carried him and probably could have KOed him early, Byrd looked awful

    Was very hard to watch.
I had alot of expectations tonight for Byrd.
always been a fan, I was excited to see him fight as a Lt Heavy.
maybe he made the move 10 years too late
but, everyone eventualy has to go thru this...

Gotta give prop's to Shaun George
he did his thing, he proved me wrong.

I thought this fight was more what Byrd couldn't do then what George could do.

I think George carried Byrd, sad to say but Joe Calzaghe would of destroyed Byrd in one round tonight, so would Johnson, and probably even Diacnou or Dawson.

Byrd got hurt by EVERY shot that landed clean, and George is not a monster puncher.

Not impressed by George, he was too lazy, too inconsistent, and had a guy who had nothing in front of him and let him slide for 8 rounds too long.

George's knockout percentage is deceptive I think. He hits hard, but as we saw tonight, and against Richard Hall, he doesn't always push hard for the knockout.
