zappa won in the 3rd after langham's corner threw in the towel. Langham had knocked zappa down in the first but after that zappa knocked langham down 4 or 5 times

i mean it was a nice performance but cmon, zappa would get killed by the likes of Juan Diaz, pacman etc (zappa mentioned wanting to get a world title in his post fight interview)

Willie Kickett destroyed Jun Paderna 1st Round KO. From the word go he went out there to finish the fight quickly and knock him out. Landed some big blows and proved he in one of the best prospects in Australia. This guys going to be something special.

i agree kickett was impressive but let's face it, he hasn't fought any fighter above a C level. We will see how he handles higher level opponents

DOnt think Vic has learned anything really since his defeat. He still lowers his hands far too much and doesn't use his Jab enough. I personally thought he was knocked down during the fight but the ref and many don't agree but still hope he goes away and watches the fight and works on his mistakes.

Looked like he was trying to be smart and be patient but it didn't suit him. The last round the old Vic came out and closed the show and he really he should have did it 4 rounds earlier.

Yeah i thought so too, it should have been ruled a technical knockdown, due to the ropes kept him up.

Yeah that was fight of the night, no doubt about it.

Most definatley I agree. Hasn't changed much at all, so I hope this fight is another reminder.

It seems another case of the nievas theory may have hit our shores last night. How tough was cutabay! How many wrote him off before the bell even rang. I know i did :patsch

i agree. vic has moved up in weight and his opponent, in my opinon, was smaller than him. he will be facing bigger guys than ussual and if Federico Catubay can drop darchinyan then (and if) he faces guys like Alexander Munoz ( won 31 (27 kos) no losses) then he will be in alot of trouble
