What a stupid Move if Fury Fights Perez next

Perez would knock him senseless in 6, different levels.

 

It might not make the most business sense for Fury, but as a boxing fan of course I'd prefer he fought Perez instead of Barrett or Rogan.

I rate Perez and would make him the favourite if he fights Fury, but there's no point Fury fighting stiffs on terrestrial TV like Fraudley did. If he's good enough he'll beat Perez and be able to move on to world level, if he's not then no amount of easy fights is going to help him.

 

If fury is able to take chisoras best shots I don't see why he can't take a few of perez's? Perez is being massively overrated, I think fury can beat him if he keeps him on the end of the jab for most of the night.

 

Maybe i was a bit hasty, but i just dont think the tyson fury of today is the finished article, if he went over and started doing his camps in America, rather than always training with his uncle i think he'd have a very good chance at beating Perez. Just not yet, hes only 23 afterall

 

If Tyson cant beat novice fighters as a British champion there is not alot of point building him up as a mainstream star is there?

Perez looks good, what little I ve seen of him. But if Tysons swerving him then he might as well quit the sport

 

Different levels? Perez has fought nobody. Fury just beat a man who was deemed good enough to fight Vitali K for the world title

 

I don't know to much about Perez the PF he did good but the line up wasn't much cop so i'd reserve Judgement but Fury's attitude is refreshing considering many of his peers want soft touches after hard fights.

 

I'n not sure, i'd probably tip Perez, but i think we need to credit tyson more than we're. Shame we cant use Tye Fields as a comparison:

well until Rogan gets the money he wants and Price become mandatory for the British who else is there?

 

read my second post, but perez has fought many in the am's, and while i realise its not the same, that's still very good experience, i just think tyson needs more time, and maybe a change in trainer to reach his obvious potential.

 

Hang on, looking at PF, Perez is just as sloppy as Fury. I'd say it's a pretty even fight.

 

Agree Perez is small and is sloppy and was flattered by the draw in PF and the opposition.

The best fighter he faced was a shattered Tye Fields

 

I don't this it's a bad fight for Tyson at all to be honest. Perez looked exciting but sloppy in Prizefighter, and the standard of the heavyweights he fought weren't at Tyson's level. I'd actually favour Tyson due to his size and reach advantage, though I do think Perez would be able to land his shots too. Could see this being an exciting fight.

 

Still don't know how Perez will perform if the fight goes into the later rounds and his success as an amateur was about 30 lbs lighter.
His record at HW looks to be 25-15-1
