I will agree that as far as the boxing card, there were no really memorable fights, but I had a good time there so Im not gonna ***** too much
the undercards where a ****ing disgarce schlockmeister Arums calvacade of scrubs bored the **** out of everyone and I Doubt any nonboxing fans were converted Arum doesnt care, he cares about making money he is a jew what do you expect!
got it? I don't give a f#¤@ about the "casual fan", why would you? Maybe they enjoyed themselfs, who told you different? Either way you can't magically ensure that all fights are entertaining, so what are you crying for?
Well, you are a ****ing idiot then. The casual fan pays the bills and makes the big fights happen. Without them boxing will continue to slide into irrelavence and I'd don't want to see that happen. Jeez, how stupid are some people
I was listening to the radio after the fight and they said boxing is dead. They roasted the whole PPV for 15 minutes.
Bob was doing what Bob does best. He put Duddy on the card cuz he wants him to fight Chavez Jr. and what better way to familiarize the Mexican fans with Duddy than on a card held in Texas which also happens to prominently feature perhaps the most magnetic, alluring and intriguing draw in present day boxing.
if that piece of **** makes Duddy-Chavez Jr a main event, even on a Latin Fury card, then that is just pathetic. And anyone that is willing to pay to see that **** is a sucker.
Never, never, never ask her to watch Mayweather, Jr then. Otherwise, she might just leave you for another man, given her reaction to the fights she just saw (thinking Martinez vs Williams was a joke)
Yes clearly I'm the dumb one... The casual fan just ensures that the most popular fighters gets paid a ridicules amount of money, which in turns mean they choose to fight lighter opposition because the casual fan wont know the difference... So again if you expected a brawl from Clottey, then you are the idiot, you should have anticipated how the fight most likely would turn out. Or perhaps have read one of the countless articles on how Clottey had little to no chance, or watched Clottey's fights against Cotto or Margo :smoke
I agree the atmosphere was amazing but the fights where just terrible. When you say John Duddy, Manny Pacquiao wil have fights and 2 fights featuring 2 mexicans you think man this is going to be awesome. I paid 4 bucks to watch online and I want my 4 bucks back.
yeah spent about 90 dollars on nachos and beers checked out all the hot asain chicks and the main event wasnt all that bad after a few cold ones I mean if youve seen clottey before, you knew it wasnt going to be ward-gatti. pac did good, and there were a couple of decent fights on the undercard; cheerleaders were nice, and I felt there was plenty of excitement on the part of the audience
