Someone on ESB has a pic of the two of them together in his avatar and the size difference is substantial. Bute has to drain to make 168 and Martinez is probably best at 154-156.

Bute beats the **** out of him.

I agree that Bute is too big, but that would be a great fight. The styles would result in major fireworks.

would be a fun fight for however long it lasted, but eventualy Bute would catch up to him, and lucien is too big and too strong.

Body shot KO in round 9 is my prediction.

Sergio Martinez is a big middleweight. He comes to the ring around 170, and in fantastic condition. However, he would never take this fight because he has an alligator mouth and a humming bird ass.

Martinez is too easy to hit, this would be ugly.

Stop fantasizing :D! They'll never fight each other. P4P Martinez is better than Bute. I agree with that top. Unfortunately I sense a grim future for Martinez. He's not in his 20's and has no one to fight. I don't understand why Pavlik wants to fight Bute in the near future when he should be looking for a rematch here. Martinez has no other options and his reign won't gonna last much more. ...Which is a pity. Abraham will have a shot here too.

When Pavlik figured out he was done at 160, Team Pavlik ask Martinez for a non title catchweight fight. In other words, they ask Martinez to do the same exact thing for Kelly that Kelly did for Jermain. Martinez/diBella refused to even discuss the idea. If Martinez will not fight Pavlik at a catchweight, there is no way in hell he would ever fight Bute at a full 168.

Martinez - 154/160, said he thought he could never build up quick to 168, long process and not in near future, calls out smaller guys

Bute - 168/170, said he was comfortable at 168 and is allegedly looking to go up to LHW in a few years from now, focused on anyone who says S6

    Not happening. /end thread
