If Dunne wants a fight which is lower risk than Rendall Munroe what about Booth?

Booth is a 3 weight domestic champion and has a credible record

Moran weighed 130 by the time he got in the ring and Booth was able to bully him. Dunne was KO'd in 1 by a Munroe 2 time victim

Seriously what ****ing planet do people in here live on. Dunne is going after Vasquez. Nothing to do with wanting a 'lower risk' fight than Munroe. He wants the top fighters in the division, top of the bill, in the US. He's interested in getting his exposure up as well as his $$$. Munroe doesn't come close to fitting that bill.

So if you think going after Vasquez, Cabellero etc... is him wanting a 'lower risk' fight than Munroe then feel free to continue living on whatever planet it is you come from and tell all the other space cadets I said hello.

Honestly, people on here are obsessed with the idea of Munroe. I agree it would be a reasonably interesting fight but how people fail to get their head round the fact that Dunne is after bigger fish than Munroe just baffles me. I can only assume that people are buying into Maloneys bull****

He is actually. I'm sure he'd see it as good comeback fight. Against a belt holder (spare me all the usual shite that people start with when the belt is mentioned) but not a puncher. Credible fight to take but percieved as low risk. After the 3 wars he had with Marquez and the detached retina this kind of fight fits the bill for a comeback. Plus it would do well on US tv. Mexican against an Irish lad, for a title. It aint rocket science.

    EDIT

Also should point out no disrespect to the other fighter in the thread title. Jason Booth is a very good boxer at his domestic level but he doesn't fit the bill for what Dunne is looking for

bernard should do the logical thing and step up to featherweight and fight cristobal cruz for his belt. if he loses he can always come back to super bantam with his title

BAM BAM is correct, a lot of dog**** speculation on this topic but Dunne already has a name in america due to spending his early career there and fighting on friday night fights on ESPN and an Irish fighter in world title in america always sells

vasquez will look at this as a very easy big payday and make most involved a lot of money. another alternative is cabellero coming to dublin as he previously said he would (right money of course)

so realistically there is vazquez in west coast, cruz or caballero in dublin in o2 in front of 12,000

with all due respect the prospect of choosing to fight a guy whom struggles to fill leisure centres (munroe) on sky on friday nights is even from a diehard munroe fan's point of view, not a very appealing option

dunne is the highest paid sbw in the world of course he is interested, it would be a huge purse for vasquez if he came to dublin and an easier fight in his eyes

Dunne has to beat Munroe to erase the Martinez KO

Dunne is the Athony Mundine of the 122 division, a champ solely because of the WBA Super Champ Policy. His crown is an interim belt at the highest

Why slate Dunne over a martinez Ko and why would he fight munroe to erase it instead of Martinez?

Dunne fought a better fighter than Martinez in his last fight and knock the guy spark out.
Dunne isn't the full champ but im sure if it was Munroe that had done that to cordoba you wouldn't be saying that.

Problem is that Martinez is now so irrelevant having been beaten easily by Munroe twice, Dunne would cop just as much stick for making a rematch and avenging the loss.

I just wanna see Dunne vs Munroe..... if Rendall annexes the British and Commonwealth titles to his European, and Dunne remains as champ in the meantime I see no reason for it not to happen.
