Showtime put Dawson and Tarver on the same card awhile back before the last fight in hopes of the two meeting down the road. Tarver looked horrible and Dawson looked great. Dawson was all for it and Tarver tried to find every excuse in the book to avoid the fight.:deal
I agree. Tarver avoided Dawson in their first card. But this time around, Dawson is the one avoiding Tarver. Funny how one fight can change things.
Right. Hopkins wasn't the man for beating Tarver, fair enough. But somehow Tarver IS the man after losing to Hopkins, and beating Clinton Woods? **** me, I see how that works. And don't put his resume up again, I've seen it. And it's OK. And personally, I don't think Calzaghe is the man at 175. But I don't think Tarver is either. I do think Calzaghe is the dominant 168 pounder by some distance, and recently beat Hopkins at Light Heavy. Nothing more or less. Why should he beat Tarver? Why not fight somebody actually at the top of their game? (for the record, I don't want him to fight Jones either.)
Exactly, enough of this fighting lighter fighters. Fight Tarver and then people can consider you as the P4P fighter. Untli then, im sorry to say it Joe; but the p4p fighter in the world is PACMAN!
