What about this one!!

Went down to the Sleeman Centre tonight to watch the Muay Thai fights and help out Wayne Parr prepare for his fight with the Preacher. After a good fight the judges are called for to give their decision, after a 10 minute delay they announce that the Preacher has won on points. This was totally against the run of the fight so enquired as to the scoring, this is when its goes crazy. 3 judges at ringside scoring, just the same as boxing, one would think. First judge has Wayne winning by 4 rounds, (good read on fight I thought), second judge has it to Wayne by 1 round and 3rd judge has it a draw. Now by any reckoning that makes Wayne the winner by majority decision, Right?? WRONG!! The officials call for a forth judge, well not really a judge but he was an official sitting ringside (not scoring but watching the bout) for his opinion. He says "I think the Preacher won it". Bingo, decision win to the Preacher, now that is democratic!! And I thought Ned Kelly and his boys were dead, you win the fight, you win on the judges cards and you still get robbed, how crazy is that !!! atsch

 

I really think the 3 judges scored it the way they saw it but whoever was supervising the night couldn't work out that 2 and a draw add up to a win. Probably is dyslexic and can't add up or read or something! so he asks his mate what he thinks. What a sham!!

 

wayne contacted the president of the WMC today and he is investigating the whole episode. He couldn't believe the situation either, wanted to know why a 4th judge was required as well. The plot thickens!!

 

Just an update on this BS guys! The president of the WMC arrived over here to sort out this shite fight and at this stage only bagged the judges for telling Wayne he had been robbed. So much for integrity, honesty and all that rot, it appears that they have now sent the score cards over to Thailand and are having Thai judges look at the tape and judge the decision. I wonder why they have judges over here in the first place?
