Since I only know what I grew up with in a certain era, there are many champs for given qualities that you could name.
These are niche category goats of all time: I apologize if it's strictly being a fanboy lol.

Who I rank in best ever in made up categories ? Strictly opinion based: of course it's all hypothetical. Feel free to create your own categories, and elaborate why if you'd like too.

Greatest mexican at the heavier weights: Canelo Alvarez, this man never down talked the greats before him, has earned the spot of picking opponents who he wants at his age! Not necessarily the benevidez fight but he has a stacked resume

Greatest defensive heavyweight: Chris Byrd, the fact that he moved up from smw in the amateurs to 200 plus shows his displays of courage

Head to head monster and all time hw great: Lennox Lewis, beat everyone he faced, including two rematches where he was initially sparked out by one punch kos. Revenge by way of ko or opponent quitting.

Greatest boricua pr fighter: imho Miguel Cotto. This man has been on the undercards since vargas- de la Hoya. He took on all comers. A pre Margarito Miguel was a live threat. He went to war like no other.

Best pound for pound and best Asian fighter ever: Manny Pacquiao. One could argue tons, like flash elorde, even hw zili Zhang would be acceptable because of the "heavy weight beats every under weight classes" rule.

People's champ: Ali, and Pacquiao. Noone transcended the sport like these two. Political and stood for something good. I can't speak too much on Ali, he was ahead of my time, but Manny Pacquiao: retained the image of a good guy, helpful to millions, never forgot his humble upbringing, according to Timmy (tim Bradley) pacman is the Michael Jordan of boxing.
