    Only semi-retired Bernard Hopkins compares.

Felix Sturm has a similar win over Fedor Chudinov, if you know what I mean.

This man is the best of this generation for me to beat the Kovalev that turned up is crazy. Had it a draw btw but moving up in weight to fight the man at light heavy is not been done since b-hop did in Tarver.

Ward deserves the highest credit for beating Kovalev. It doesn't matter that it was close. The way he won, by getting up after being knocked down, then adjusting and outhinking Ward to seize the fight in the middle rounds. Against a better, more complete fighter than anyone Mayweather beat. I think Kovalev is better than anyone Pac beat and I rated Kessler really highly at his best, so I think I'm going to agree with you that he should now be considered greater than Pacquiao. Cotto and Barrera are Pacquiao's two best wins, then there's too many question marks about so many other wins of his.

Pacquiao would be the obvious one.
