Joshua was the unified champ, and put on some fantastic fights, beating everyone he's ever fought besides Usyk.

Wlad, Povetkin, Ruiz, Parker, Whyte, Pulev. That's a solid list of opponents.

He doesn't deserve ATG status, but definitely HOF.

I always admired that he found a way to win. I had a world class welterweight then who was at a stage destined to fight Danny Garcia so I had to study him intensely which made me come to admire him. People forget at 140 pounds he kept overcoming challenges and winning fights he was not supposed to win e.g. Amir Khan and the very feared puncher Lucas Matthyse who were supposed to destroy him. He made the adjustments and won those fights well. Yes he is not blessed with supreme athletic ability but he is well schooled boxer, very tough with skills and great timing. One thing about me despite having my favourites I do understand boxing, styles and intangibles. Frankly I personally don’t feel he lost to Thurman or Shawn Porter. I understand why the judges gave them the narrow points victories which I won’t quibble with but thought Danny won. I knew he could not beat Spence but then again no Welterweight can. He and Crawford would be interesting and he and Crawford hold decisions over each other as amateurs.

Yes he did but Danny beat him first when he was at his peak and a champion. In fact Danny destroyed him.

He destroyed the most chinny fighter of this era , big deal lol.

He was also supposedly the fastest and best fighter in that division at the time. Garcia gets the credit for doing him in especially in a fight he was supposed to lose.

Danny Garcias wins against mediocre fighters that could have easily been losses

    Ashley Theophane - split decision
    Kendall Holt - split decision
    Lamont Peterson - majority decision
    Mauricio Herrera - majority decision
Jose Benavidez Jr - majority decision

Hall of fame fighters don't struggle that much with those level of fighters. He couldn't even stop Ivan Redkach!

If Arturo Gatti is in the HOF, Danny Garcia and plenty others belong as well.

HOF fighters don't nearly lose to Wilson Rodriguez, lose by stoppage to Angel Manfredy, lose twice to Ivan Robinson, lose once to Micky Ward, and get dominated by every great fighter he faced.

I agree that Gatti doesn't deserve to be in there on results.

But I can understand making a special exception for him because of being one of the most exciting fighters to watch ever, being in so many fight of the year type fights, the classic trilogy with Ward. He was an iconic fighter , with his all action, must watch style. He had a special place in boxing as the blood and guts warrior.

Also I do think he got sympathy votes because he died.

Gatti doesn’t belong. His fights were thrilling and fact he died put him in. I don’t judge him as the bar set to gain entry.

    Chocalatito, Canelo, Donaire, Usyk, GGG.

Some people are giving out HOF status like candy. Bivol in the HOF already? What a joke.
