Maidana has Power but his only chance is to rough up Mayweather and going for the head and body on to the ropes instead of trying to be safe and trying to outbox Mayweather.

Just look what happened to Alvarez, he had the size, power advantage but did not use them.

He's more powerful but he won't be able to use that advantage.

i dont see any heart questions from either floyd nor maidana. they do NOT are acceptable to losses.
some fighters accept they lost prior to the fight even being over. i dont see any issues here, they can both be equals
in heart. they will not accept a loss for what it is and will keep going for a win

MAIDANA advantage is his style. He'll hit you where ever he can. He also loops the right overhand and aims for the top of the head rather then the chin. This is the key to the philly shell. Look for him to win this fight . But Mayweather comes back and beats the breaks off him in the rematch

Why doesn't Maidana just hand his belt over to Mayweather instead of training and doing all the promotional tours to try and hype the fight :)

I am already looking forward to Mayweather's next opponent on September, this fight is a mismatch.

Because every fighter has a punchers chance and plus he is getting paid a prize in a "Prize Fight" and anything can happen in a fight, a guy can get injured and lose on the cards or get disqualified, they can get a cut, an eye can close. Anything can happen in a fight. But on Paper Mayweather is better in every area of boxing.

I just hope atleast Maidana wins 2-3 rounds against Mayweather not a shut out win for Mayweather.

Big fan of Maidana but let's be serious. :-(

He was at times being outboxed by the likes of Josesito Lopez and Sot0-Karras.

I say he wins no more than 2, he is very reckless. Mayweather is going to give him a false hope of success then pick him apart and frustrate him. I wouldn't be shocked at a TKO. Maidana can't take body shots well and Floyd is one of the best body punchers in the sport.

Maidana has a size advantage over Floyd. His fight night weight aginst Broner was 11lbs heavier than Floyd's weight versus Canelo
