Look I am not here to argue and talk about this whole Pacquiao/Mayweather issue, but honestly we can both agree that both of them made excuses for not making the fight happen.

Maidana will do what a lot of us thought Canelo would have done. Get inside, get close and work the head and body (or try)

That alone will make it a more exciting fight than Canelo and the tactics he went with

Eh...he probably hits a tad harder? And I'd argue even that. Maidana's power at 147 is unproven and he hasn't knocked out anyone of note in years.

    It's probably nothing really.

That's about right Money TKO 9 and he's miles better on the inside than Maidana.

Yep said it before this isn't Broner , it looks like Money will be walking him down late.

Maidana ''may'' have the edge in power but he is sloppy with his punches at times, you would also need a good stiff jab to get closer to floyd and landing that Power shot. Maidana does not have that.

I give credit where credit is due, Mayweather is a great fighter he schooled Alvarez but should have fought @ 154 for a title fight, he was bashing Pacquiao when he fought Cotto @ 145 for a title fight but even if the fight was @ 154 Mayweather would have still beaten Alvarez.

Just proves ''power'' is not just the answer to beating Mayweather.

Garcia, Maidana's trainer even says that they will apply the same tactics they used in the Broner fight which I think is the only option for them.

Mayweather's Ring IQ is unbelievable but needs to fight a riskier fighter in Thurman, Lara or Pacquiao.

Here's the thing. Maidana throws combinations from all angles, but he is slow. He runs out of stamina in some of his fights, which may give his punch resistance problems later in the fight. He is a gd brawler, but lacks too many intangibles to really use his punching power and angles to keep Mayweather from breathing.

Possible new sneaky tricks from Robert Garcia
    Chin (possibly)

As much as floyd is claimed to have a good chin that's only because nobody has ever landed on it clean and consistently just occasional one off landed punches.
Even though Miadana has been knocked down I have never seen him really really hurt ie wobbling around concussed Maidana is one tough cookie.

Maidana has zero advantage. Power is only useful when you can land it cleanly. Otherwise, it's useless. This will be a blowout. Maidana will be lucky to win one round.

This is boxing so IF Maidana lands one of his big shots on Mayweather's chin, it could turn it around but 1 or 2 punches here and there won't be effective against Mayweather. Maidana has to throw punches in bunches accurately.
