Koncz vs Haymon, Al gets his fighters nothing but great deals for the most money. Who convinced Pac that resigning with a company that has no opponents for you to sell PPV against, no lineal champions to face, no clout with the MGM or Showtime, and not getting you a supersized payday vs Mayweather is a good deal? Manny actually was "advised" by a professional to sign this deal? Really?

It's because Koncz's primary client is Top Rank, not Pacquiao.

Pac will still be well compensated and his pool of opponents consists of mostly guys from the lower weight classes. I don't see that as a bad way to go out for Pacquiao.

Pacquiao isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, that's very obvious. He says whatever his promoter tells him to say.

I think Pacquiao just went with Top Rank because entertaining offers from Golden Boy could potentially harm his guarantees from Top Rank.
