couldnt honestly tell you.leave it with me:huh:huh:huh Was out for a good while couple of years ago with broken hand.Never for get it.:|:|
why did you purchase 2 cleto reyes helmets the same but different colour and why do you have so many pairs of gloves.
I started at 21 . It took me about a year to get comfortable. I had my first fight July 11. I won my first 4 fights and loft a decision in a final in a tournament a couple weeks ago. So I'm 4 and 1. There's a guy I used to train with who started at 24 and has been nationally ranked in the top 10 a few times throughout his amateur career
19 seriously. Do you need that much equipment? The only thing you really need are handwraps, a skipping rope, running shoes, boxing shoes, one head gear, 12 oz gloves, a mouthpiece and sparring gloves. Later on before competition get a kidney belt. This should all be under 300$. and thats getting really good stuff.
I'm 33, and started back in June. I do regret not starting younger, plus I won't get the chance to fight competitively. I train 4 nights a week, and absolutely love it. Its the hardest training i've ever done but I do feel so much healthier, look in a lot better shape, lost a couple of stone & have so much more energy. This, along with the new skills i'm learning has given my self-confidence a much needed boost. I think further down the line I will have a look at going down the White Collar Boxing route, just as a means to compete. Would have loved to compete on the Amateur route, but left it too late (i'm 34 in April). I guess what i'm trying to say is that its never too late to start, even if you don't become a world champion. If you put the work in then you get some good rewards back, whatever your age!
