If he was fighting Marquez or Pacquiao or another fan favorite, people would want Maidana to be disqualified on the spot and suspended for 6 months.

 

Never said he was clueless but there really isn't a need for a strength in conditioning coaches ..The sport had better boxers long before these guys broke into the sport !

Yeah so we aren't talking about if Ariza is needed as a strength and conditioning coach, dude.

Team Maidana obviously thinks he is, as that's what they pay him for. He is on the payroll.

He made statements regarding the fight. He was as close to the ring as anyone other than the fighters and the ref...

If he has any bias, it is in the extreme favor of Maidana.

You don't like what he said. OK. He still said it and regardless of if it should be or not, his opinion is more relevant than yours or mine.

 

Look at what happened to Bradley ,Floyd brought up a great point ,he was liked Bradley gassed must have been lifting too much weights ..I attribute that to his strength and conditioning coach ..Why is it. Floyd never needed one :thinkThats all I'm saying ..

I give him credit for knowing his stuff but sometimes he acts like he is the reason some fighters have success ..And that's simply not the case ..

Plus the consistent rabbit punching and shots landed to the back, some on the spine.

It was not particularly dirty BY MAIDANA'S STANDARDS. Everyone who has watched him knows that's what he does.

But by EVERYONE ELSE'S STANDARDS, yes, there should actually be a lot of complaining on ESB about Maidana fighting dirty, given how that is usually discussed when a similarly rough and dirty fight takes place.

 

I do agree.

But if you're giving someone a magical mystery milk shake every day and everyone on your team says it is vital to training yet nobody on your team claims to know what is inside of it... then I dunno. He gets paid thousands of dollars by several world class fighters and I'm guessing there is some reason for it.

Hey he knows how,to improve a guys strength and he is also a cut man so I'm sure it goes beyond strength and conditioning and he's been at it for years..I remember him in Corrales corner for the. Mayweather fight..He must be doing something right but sometimes he gets put on a pedestal that he shouldn't be on .
