1. No his punch is not harder now. Power is amplified by velocity, the faster the fist travels the more kinetic energy it can deliver, his punches are not as snappy as they were.

2. Yes Briggs was always nothing at the top level, but in this crap era he won a Heavyweight world title when he is way past his best. Guys like Ruiz who got blown away by Tua were World Champion and top level guys in this God awful era of heavyweight boxing.

I would have to say Corrie Sanders beat down your boy pretty bad, that was probably worse because at leat Holyfield knocked Bowe down in there 3rd fight.

The KD of round 3 came early in the round against Cooper. Holyfield gained his senses and rocked Cooper with a nice right hand with a little over a minute left, and it was back and forth action from there. Cooper landed a nice right hand with about 10 seconds left, but it was hardly a case of Evander getting "saved by the bell".

 

Bowe 'starched' Holy did he? Well you and me might have different opinions on the definition of 'starched' then.

Saved by the bell against Cooper? OK so WALD was 'saved by the hug' against PETERS....3 times.

Balance issues....yeah WALD has a lot of balance issues, once he gets hit on the chin.

See you're putting words in my mouth now, I never said Bowe fought 'little' Holy instead of 'big' LL, I've never claimed that size had anything to do with it - just the fact that Lewis was a tougher fight, which he proved by beating Holyfield twice. That has no bearing on how a Bowe V WALD fight would go, or a Holyfield V WALD fight would go either.

 

I do believe that has already been done, and it seems that 2dumb was in the minority. A very BIG minority.

 

I still think Bowe hits harder than Sanders, he knocked out more quality openents. Cooper did hurt him, I dont recall him going down though. I think Wlad being stopped by Ross THE BOSS purity is a little worse dont you think.
