CT, handily agree. I've posted about this before, but I was truely surprised by the level of gay comments, references, etc from posters toward fighters they don't like. I didn't realize fight "fans" were so obsessed by homosexuality. Makes you wonder :think There are closet issues from some of these posters. :yep

A fighters sexual orientation has nothing to do with his (or her) in the ring accomplishments. I'm surprised this thread has had such a life. I've written more posts to this thread since I've joined than to any other. :blood I was off from work today

 

If Wlads gay I guess thats his business until goes public with it, in the last few weeks I seen more alot of posters calling Oscar gay after his cross dressing scandal, so yes homo-sexuality is fun to make fun of for alot of people on ESB. The pictures of him with his brother are definitely worth considering if he is gay or not.

Posing w/your brother seminude or wearing a mesh shirt does not mean you're gay or straight. They think calling a man "gay" that would cause them to mess thier panties makes them real men. :verysad

Let's assume Wlad is gay. Doesn't not change that he is the best current HW. Haters called Lewis gay too. Hell, they could both be bisexuals. Who knows? And what difference does it make?

I don't think Tyson is gay, but listen to the guy. He sounds about as "gay" as any top name fighter

If this was a real serious boxing forum - do any exist? - you'd be temporarily banned. I've been a member of a forum in another hobby for about 7 years. If you stray too far OT, act too insulting or trollish, the site owner or other administrators will step in with a warning to stop it. If you don't or are a repeat offender, you're gone. Won't happen here.

 

People have fun making gay threads which I never made before, you take **** to serious, most people are just playing around. At first I serious and wouldnt engage in nothing but boxing, but why limit yourself alot of the stuff people say acussing a fighter of being gay is pretty funny. If I made you feel uncomfortable my bad, Im down just to stick with boxing.

 

It's not that I'm a prude or it makes me uncomfortable. Yes, I'm around guys that joke a bit about gay this or that. I've heard some of this my whole life. And I hate "political correctness" which is just mind control and bullsh*t.

I just think it's silly and fairly excessive on ESB. Not enough info about other boxing sites - I only have so much time to give to boxing.

 

I hear you, Im not trying to offend anyone and thats how most of my friends joke around as well. I think most people look at homo-sexuality as a weakness, not sure if thats true not but whatever. I would rather talk boxing instead, the funny thing is as much as I talk **** about the heavywieght and Wlad, I have a huge collection of tapes most of which are from the 2000s and alot them are Wlad fighting someone. I think the reason I dont like Wlad so much is his chin other than that I wouldnt mind him as much, the panic thing he does really bothers me for some reason.

 

I categorically disagree. He was always a big puncher and his KO ratio against the likes of what he has been fighting recently was just as good. There is NOTHING to suggest he hits harder now than before other than that he is slightly bigger, not massively bigger.....he was ripped and heavily muscled when he fought Lewis.

And when the same size guy just pumps iron and loses all his punch speed he wont start hitting harder..no chance.It is a balance between enough muscle power and enough speed.

Look at Tyson you think his punches against Danny Williams were as powerful as in 1985? But he was clearly more muscle bound against Williams.

And "likely much worse"??? Mate he is ****ing MILES worse, look at his output and movement when he won the world title compared to against Lewis or anyone else around that time. He is so slow and lacking in stamina now he cannot even be aggressive.

 

Lennox lewis with his wife and children is not gay/bisexual he is also jamacian and he wouldn't be well respected there he i if he was gay.

Vitali is married as well, with 2 children I believe. I would doubt that Wladimir, Vitali or Lennox are gay.
