I thought so. He wasn't fighting all those amateur fights for the free bus rides. I watched him fight in a controlled intelligent way in every fight I've seen him in. I bet on this fight like it was a once in a decade line. It seemed obvious to me the Ward would beat the **** out of Kessler. The fight was in Ward's backyard and stylistically you have a straight one two guy that couldn't adjust his jock strap with a team of engineers on the job, verses a guy that is very versatile and is a master boxer. Ward is still very underrated, now less so with the betting public.

I agree that prior head to head match ups are an important tool in analyzing fights. There is only so much evidence one can use to predict an outcome before the fight. It's senseless to completely ignore common opponents.

What you say is true And what I am going by is Green's last 6 fights he has not looked that good at all and the Ko's he has had where againest over the hill bottom of the barrel fighter's that you would use to pad a record and he got rocked by some of them, Ward has be stepping up and dominating his opposition so all you hear is how much ko power Green has "ya againest lower opposition," we have to remember this is a big fight and on big fight's Las Vagas does not make mistake's on the odd's their to smart for that (matter of fact the line went from -650 on Ward to -750 that was to night and as we get closer all the smart money will pour in and most likly end around Ward -900) I see this fight not being close at all in Wards favor.
I personaly don't favor one fighter over the other I just look a fact's and boxing sense on who is going to WIN.
