When he has beaten Chad Dawson, who will he have left to fight?

I think a rematch with Froch or Kessler would be good or a match against Bute. Jermain Taylor and Andre Direll are also good opponents.

Well, since Froch is riding high from stopping Bute. He seems to be a logical choice.

I can't see Froch leaving Nottingham for a while let alone to take on an opponent who he won't make that much money against and has no interest in facing and will 95% beat him again.

Pretty much the same for kessler.

A match against Bute would be highly dependent on him beating Froch which is just never going to happen.

Jermaine Taylor is not a good opponent for someone of Wards level.

Him and Andre Dirrell will refuse to fight forever.

The problem Ward has is no one who would be a good opponent for him who is available and actually wants to fight him, his best bet imo would be to fight his mandatory challengers as these bout bring a certain about of legitimacy and hope that someone who is a good opponent either comes out of thin air or changes their view on fighting Ward as it don't appear he will be leaving Oakland any time soon.

Should Andre defeat Dawson which i expect him to do decisively, is stay at the weight for as long as possible, at least fight all comers who pose a risk at being the man in the division (when he leaves), which would include facing, jermain taylor and bute aswell as the dirrel brothers (pavlik should hemnanage to re establish himself but we all know how that would look), Degale and groves if they pull there finger out and actually start being active on a consistent basis. Maybe the only incentive to face froch kessler and abraham again is for the major eurpean paydays.

Give a beating to Andrea Dirrell if the ***** has the balls to step up which i doubt considering his track record.

He should rematch Kessler in Denmark. Thereby he returns the favour of being a champion travelling to fight his challenger. Doing so would also put to rest all the critisism he receives for always fighting in his own country and he gets a chance to show that he can beat the dane without headbutting his face to shreds.

TBH he has nothing left to prove . . . he completely schooled Froch, he outclassed Kessler worse than anyone ever had and Bute just lost to Froch. I see no use in Ward or Froch2, even though Froch is the fllava of the month.

Dirrell might be the only challenge left at 168, IF he gets by Dawson. @175 he could fight the old man, Pascal, Cloud, the guy who just beat Cloud

When Ward wins, if it's a good fight, they will rematch at 175.

Ward would win, but it would be a high-technical match for sure.

I agree :) Andre Ward really should do that, and Danish boxing isn't corrupt, as far as I know. The best man would win in Denmark, with no headbutts. I'm pretty sure Ward would win, though. But the match would be better this time.
